The Electronics Development Fund (EDF) website, managed by Canbank Venture Capital Fund Limited, aims to be accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities, irrespective of the device or assistive technology they use.

Standards

This website has been designed and remediated to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) and the applicable SEBI accessibility requirements. An independent accessibility audit is being carried out, and this statement will be updated with its results.

Accessibility features

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and a skip link to the main content.
  • Support for resizing text and reflow on small screens.
  • Text alternatives for informative images and accessible labels for site controls.
  • Text size controls (A-, A, A+) and a high contrast mode at the top of every page.
  • The home page banner does not move until you choose “Play slideshow”, and can be paused at any time.
  • A list of screen readers and a help page explaining how to use these features.

Known limitations

  • Some PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible. The documents on the Downloads page are being converted to accessible formats; until then, copies are available on request.
  • A few older pages that are no longer part of the website menus are kept for reference and are marked as older content.
